Web10 mar 2016 · To be able to run 33" tires (or 34") comfortably you'll need 3.5" to 4" of lift. When you say comfortably what exactly do you mean by that? Been to several place that install lifts to get this priced out and one was a 2 1/2" and the other quote a 3 1/4" for room to go to bigger size tire if I chose too. Chris. I switched my rims to 15 inch and went with 32 inch KO2s. Felt that I would need to make more adjustments to my current 3 inch budget boost (actual is 2.5 lift) if I went with 33s.

Comparison: 2.5 RC coils w/35s: 2.5 RC coils w/285/70/17s: If you don't wanna re-gear and you don't think you'll ever go bigger then go 33s. If you can answer that you are going to re-gear and you want to go bigger then don't waste the money on the 33s. I got adjustable lower control arms for the front. Set them around 1/4" or so longer than stock and it fixed everything.
